LifeScape's Homecoming Week, September 25-29, will culminate with a homecoming parade at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 29. The parade will start at St. Mark's Lutheran Church and proceed east on 28th Street and north on Holly Avenue to the parking lot of our main campus (2501 W. 26th Street), where a carnival will be held for students. The parade will include homecoming royalty, the Harrisburg High School marching band, horses, classic cars, clowns, police cars, and representatives of ESPN radio.
28th Street from Elmwood to Holly Avenues, and Holly Avenue from 28th to 26th Streets will be closed from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Parking is available on side streets, including Elmwood, and Lincoln Avenues, plus Holly and Faris Avenues South of 28th Street. 26th Street will be available for parking, as well as 28th Street east of Holly and West of Elmwood.
The public is invited to come and enjoy the parade.
